Bernard Schoenhofen, age 91, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 8, 2023. Bernard was born and raised in the Wyoming area his whole life and worked for Stowe-Davis for many years as a cabinet maker before his retirement. Bernard was a collector of antiques and loved to talk about all things related to history or classic cars. He could often be found at the library researching various subjects and he even worked at the Grandville Historical Museum during his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; parents, John and Catherine; son, Tom Schoenhofen; and his 7 brothers and sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Melinda (Brian) Patterson, Stephen Schoenhofen, Judy Schoenhofen; grandchildren, LeAnna (Dave), Jonan (Sam), Vincent, Chris, Katie and Jack; great grandchildren, Annaleigh and Aubrey and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, September 13 at MKD Grandville at 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, MI, with Rev. Brian Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-8 pm and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
