Ben Eisenga, Jr.

Eisenga, Ben Jr. EISENGA: Ben Eisenga, Jr., age 92, of Grandville, went home to be with the Lord and was reunited with his wife, Pearldean on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Ben was a mason contractor for many years. He was instrumental in organizing the band parents of Calvin Christian High School. He will be greatly missed by his children, Dawnlynn and Sam Suttorp, Barry and Betsy Eisenga, Jill and Rick VanEck, Dawn and Mike Seinen, Sue and Kelly Moore; 6 grandchildren; sister, Agnes Johnson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gertrude Eisenga, Verna and Harold Jager, Ed Emmert; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett St., Grandville. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-6 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Nursing Home.

Dawn, Betsy, Dawn, Sue, and Barry, I had a message from my aunt today that your dad had died. We have been in New England and just got home or we would have come to the services. My love and memories are with you. He was always nice to me and we had a lot of good jokes and laughs over the years. I know you do too and will miss him. Too many losses for you all this year. To the Eisenga family, It was my honor to have known Ben. We bowled against each other for a few years at Fairlanes on Wednesday nights. He was always someone I looked up too and talked with each week, even though I was so much younger. My Christian sympathy and prayers to your family. Greg Kuiper
