Beatrice M. Gregory

Beatrice Mae Gregory (Koetsier), age 90, of Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl; and also preceded at a very young age by her first husband, Edwin Bareman; and her brother, Russell Koetsier. Bea was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family. She graduated from Holland Christian High School and then earned her nursing degree, graduating from Blodgett School of nursing. Following graduation, she worked in the area as an RN, and retired from the Christian Nursing Home after 39 years of faithful service. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sue Veeneman and son-in-law, Jim Veeneman; grandchildren, Samantha Veeneman, Kaylee and Brandon Bott, Abigail Veeneman; her great-grandson, Gabriel Bott; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Jean and Bill Evoy, Shirley Bareman; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020, 11 am at Pillar Church, 57 E 10th St., Holland, 49423, with Rev. AJ Gretz officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also from 10 - 10:45 am prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice or the Edison Christian Health Center.
