GUNTER - Mrs. Barnell Gunter aged 77 passed away Friday, August 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gunter Sr.; grandson, Brandon; her parents, Herman and Mamie Arnold; siblings, Harold Arnold, Carl Arnold, Horace Arnold, Margaret Smith and Joseph Arnold. Surviving are her children, Donald (Karen) Arnold, Daniel (Kerri) Gunter Jr., Dirk (Tonya) Gunter, Lafayette (Dawanna) Gunter, Barrett Gunter and Barretta Gunter; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; her siblings, Melvin Arnold, Mary Mines, Marvin Arnold, Louise Durham, Larry Arnold, Myrtle "Murl" Hatch, Martha Faye Smith; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with visitation one hour prior.
