Barbara Puczek

Barbara Puczek, age 91, of Grandville, was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father, passing away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was born November 9, 1931 in Poland. She married Zbigniew Puczek, and he predeceased her in 2002. Barbara will always be remembered for her giving heart, her willingness to help others, her smile, cooking, baking, and her “HOMEMADE PUDDING”. Barbara enjoyed dancing, singing, but most importantly taking care of her family. Surviving are her children, Roman (Teresa) Pasieczny, Marek Pasieczny, Mirek (Kasia) Puczek, Grace (Rey) Castillo; and stepson, Kris Puczek. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison with Fr. Phong Pham officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m until the time of mass. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to thank the staff at Corewell Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother.
