Barbara Mickam

Barbara Jean Mickam, age 83, of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020. Barbara was born on September 22, 1936 to Frank and Beatrice (Parker) Price.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Thomas.  She is survived by her children, Frank (Lyn) Mickam, Timothy Mickam, Daniel Mickam, and Mary (Brent) Bradley; grandchildren, Sarah Mickam, Steven (Annie) Bradley, and Joshua Bradley; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne (June) Price, Alan (Nancy) Price, Darlene Price; and many nieces and nephews.  Barbara loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She liked to play games, collect recipe books, and read.  She always lent a helping hand when family needed her.  Family get togethers at the cottage and during holidays were filled with love and laughter.  There will be a time for visitation from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Parish, 2700 Baldwin Ave, Jenison, MI 49428.  Guests are welcome to stay for the funeral mass immediately following the visitation, starting at 11:00 am. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
