Barbara Lynn Venema

​Barbara Lynn Venema, age 71, of Caledonia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022. She worked for many years at several places in the Caledonia area, including Meijer. She loved knitting, camping, and garage sales. Most of all, she loved being with her high school sweetheart, Ron. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Ron Venema; brother: Larry L. and Hendricka Stauffer; sister-in-law, Janice Stauffer; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Arleen Stauffer; brother, Dan Stauffer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. SE, Caledonia. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods.
