Barbara Lee Young, age 80, of Grand Rapids, formerly Holland, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Evelyn McLean; nephew, Joshua StClair. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Andrea (Brian) DeJong, Kimberly Young; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Dottie) StClair, Sallie McLean; brother, Russell (Janet) McLean; many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved aunts. The family invites you to join them for an open house celebrating Barb’s life on Monday night, September 13, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm in the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Reception and Event Center (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local Women’s Shelter.
