Barbara Lois Waite, age 92, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley in 1988. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. Her fun and independent spirit was evident to all who knew her.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Betty Campbell, John Waite, Kurt and Patty Waite; her grandchildren, Jamie Navalta, Rebecca Keith, Melissa and Andrew Ver Hage, Michael Waite; great-grandchildren, Nick, Morgan, Seth, Devin, Elizabeth, Joseph, Madison, and Ameila; sister-in-law, Phyllis Vander Kooy; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many dear friends from Russ’ Restaurant.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 2pm at Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ryan Quanstrom officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 1-2pm prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
