Barbara LaFata, age 92, of Wyoming went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Anthony “Tony” LaFata. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Rachel LaFata-Kreitzer and Jerry Kreitzer; grandchildren, Charles and Joey DeGraaf, Michael and Kelli DeGraaf; five great grandchildren, Jayden, Colton, Jaxson, Charleigh, Dylanne; nieces and nephews, Barbara Thomas, David LaFata, Ann Marie LaFata, Victor LaFata, Susan Case, Barbara Case; extended family and friends. Barbara was devoted to her faith and she enjoyed gardening, reading historical novels and mystery stories, but her greatest joy was her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Monday, September 28 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming with Rev. John Vallier officiating.  Burial will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family for one hour prior to Mass at church on Monday.
