Barbara Grewe

Barbara J. Grewe (Weingartz), age 67, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus on Monday, December 12, 2022. Barb was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who cherished and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Agnes Weingartz. Barb will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Grewe (Evan), Michelle and Daniel Bury (Ella, Julia, Grant, Natalie), Rachel Grewe and fiance Maxwell Wingelaar; eight siblings; and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville with Fr. Stephen Durkee officiating. Following the service, burial will take place at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 am prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Van Andel Institute for Parkinson’s Research or to Faith Hospice. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of American House and Faith Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Barb.
