Barbara Jean Forgar, age 85, of Grandville, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2026, where she was joyfully reunited with her husband and daughter.

Barbara had a wonderful sense of humor and was especially known for her dry wit and delightfully snarky personality. She had a great love for animals and found much joy in their companionship.

She also had a heart for serving others. Barbara was a dedicated volunteer at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, where she helped with the food pantry and assisted with funeral luncheons. Through these simple acts of kindness and service, she generously gave her time to her church and community.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Roy “Chuck” Forgar; and her daughter, Noelle Fish. She will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law, Corey Fish; stepson, Scott Forgar and his family; brother-in-law, Jack Forgar; sisters-in-law, Dema Gerencher and Clarissa Tonkin; as well as nieces, nephews,  extended family and friends.

A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 4100 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, 49509.
