Barbara Eikelberg

Eikelberg - Mrs. Barbara Joy Eikelberg, age 67, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 6, 2018. Dearest wife of 47 years to Richard, mother of Michelle Elyea, Heather (Evan) Mathison, Nathan (Pam) Eikelberg; grandmother to Hayden, Luke and Lincoln Elyea, Clare, Ivy and Will Mathison. Barb enjoyed reading, flower gardening and annual quilt retreats with close friends. Her talents included sewing, knitting and quilting. She found joy in donating handmade blankets and sweaters for newborns. Barb was famous with the grandkids for her rice krispie treats, homemade popcorn and fluffy pancakes. Fond memories include crafts, time on the lake and evening campfires. Barb was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ryskamp; sisters, Janet McMains, Lynn Osborn; father-in-law, Darwin Eikelberg. Surviving are her mother, Dorothy Ryskamp, brothers, Dick (Kris), Terry (Marilyn), and Randy (Donna) Ryskamp; sister, Laura Ryskamp; mother-in-law, Jeanette Eikelberg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bart McMains, Doug Osborn, Karen (Bob) Kol, Janice (Jim) Burton, Holly (Brian) Prangley, Kevin Eikelberg; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday May 10, 2018 with family gathering one hour prior to the service at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE.
