Barbara De Good

Barbara Ann De Good, age 83, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2023. She is treasured by her husband, David De Good, who she loved and served and faithfully shared life with for 63 years; son, Douglas (Rhonda) De Good; daughters, Laurie (Richard) Nykamp, Cherie (Doug) Koopman, Susan (Philip) Winkel; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. Barb will be remembered by many as a cherished friend, trusted counselor, and willing servant. She loved to extend hospitality to guests, loved to host her family, loved to serve others, but most of all, loved to share her story: how Christ called her and redeemed her for His own. To know her was to love her! Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel United Reformed Church, 8360 Cottonwood Dr., Jenison, with Rev. Steve Postma officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home in Grandville (4145 Chicago Dr. SW) on Monday, May 15, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at Bethel URC from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice of Grand Rapids.
