Barbara Ann Blouw, age 94, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 18, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Marvin; sister, Phyllis Algra; and brother, Ron Terpstra. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Daniel and Patti Blouw, Steve and Marg Blouw, Sandy and Richard Gebhart, Randall and Peggy Blouw, Lori and Jim Docter; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by her sister, Ruth and Bart Frankena, and many extended family members and friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Corewell Health Hospice and the Sunset North Staff for the tender and loving care they provided for Barbara over the past year.

Barbara treasured time spent with her family and friends. She and Marvin enjoyed traveling, especially their time in Florida on Nettles Island. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, spending time at the cabin, and camping. Above all, Barbara cherished the many memories made with those she loved, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. John Witvliet officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 11 am - 12:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the South Grandville CRC Benevolence Fund.
