I am sorry to learn of the passing of your father. I have so many great memories of working with Gus at Rapistan. As many have indicated in the guestbook, he was great to work for and an excellent manager. Rapistan was fortunate to have him for 40 years. May memories of Gus forever be a blessing. John Sebastian

Worked at Rapistan from 69 to 76 before going to GM. Had many racquetball games with he and Bob Skislak, with many softball games as well. Gus was a good man and fair minded. Went to a team party at his house Riverside Park. Those that were there, knew I enjoyed the "cruncy shrimp". Bless the family. Fish.

Gus was a great boss and a great friend to me when I worked at Rapistan starting in 1996. I kept in touch with him for several years after he retired and moved to Florida full time. I had an urge to call him about 2 weeks ago and certainly wish that I had done so. We live full time in Arizona now and I recently had spine surgery so can't travel. I knew his son John well since he worked at Rapistan also and also was acquainted with his daughter and her husband. My deep sympathy to all of Gus' family and friends. Bruce Smithers
