Aurelya Carranco

Aurelya Carranco, age 19 months, of Lansing, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. She was playful, full of energy, had the sweetest, most playful spirit. She loved to mimic others in the most unexpected moments, always bringing smiles and laughter, dancing to all and any types of music- her 2 favorites being “Burger Dog & Golden”, she would find fun in everyday moments like bath time, bed play, zerberts, swinging upside down and being around the family pets, her joy was just so contagious. She was curious and intelligent, quickly learning words, numbers, and routines while carefully observing how others spoke and acted. She showed kindness, & compassion at such a young age while often giving hugs and kisses, offering comfort when others were sad, and enjoying simple bonding moments like high fives and fist bumps. She loved familiar comforts such as her favorite show Bluey, certain foods, and her bedtime routines. Music moved her, and she would dance to anything with a melody, she understood soft slow beats to fast ones and would follow that beat in movement. Her personality was expressive and thoughtful even at a very young age—She found happiness in everyday moments, sometimes shy, yet very bold, but always attentive and eager to engage with the world around her. She loved helping, exploring, and being included in daily life. Her most love for Agua, she was an infant whom loved it so, she called it “Awua”, but yet for an infant this age she did not like the sweets all that much. Her smile lit up every room, and her presence was felt everywhere she went. She loved deeply, lived joyfully, and left a mark that will never fade. Overall, she is remembered as a loving, joyful child whose presence brought happiness everywhere she went and whose memory remains deeply cherished. She will be lovingly remembered by her mama and papa, Krystal and Roux Carranco; her sisters, Andreita Carranco, Desiree’ Carranco; grandparents, Juanita Carranco, Howard and Sue Martin Bindes; her uncle/aunt and godfather/godmother Rodney and Kyla Carranco; loving uncles and aunts, Rudy and Theresa Carranco Jr., Rob Carranco, Jacklyn Martin, Amanda Bindes, Douglas and Emily Alberta, Nikki Lynn Alberta; Adopted grandparents, Mike and Maureen Tuttle; Foster grandparents, Douglas and Anna Alberta; several loving cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Jose Rudolfo Carranco Sr.Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026,  at  First Congregational Church, 106 Bostwick Street S, Charlotte, MI with Rev. Adam Droscha officiating.   Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 12-2 pm at  the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the family's Gofundme account.
