Augusta Graves

Augusta “Gussie” Graves, age 92, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Friday, February 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; as well as her entire Lentz family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donald A. and Pamela Graves, David and Patricia Graves, Kathy Ogden, Debra Graves, Lori Graves and Jerry; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brother-in-law, Kenneth and Ruth Graves; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Gussie was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. She was a faithful Christian with a servant’s heart. She was an active resident of the Rose Garden and continuously helped others, played games and socialized with all of the residents, earning the Most Helpful Award. Gussie loved to clip coupons, go to garage sales, try new recipes and cook favorite meals for the kids and grandkids. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 11 am at Community of Christ Church, 2140 Union Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, with Tom Reynolds officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5 - 8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.

My deepest condolences. Gussie was a dear friend to many at Rose Garden and one of my personal favorites. Praying for all of you during this difficult time. Knowing she is now with our Father gives us so much peace.
