Audrey Mae Spencer

Audrey Mae Spencer, age 82, of Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 as she was surrounded by her family. She is now in the presence of the Lord. Audrey was a faithful wife and mother. Audrey served the church, alongside her husband, in 60 years of ministry. She enjoyed singing and teaching. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Richard “Dick”; their children, Leigh and Gary Ames, Deb and Bob Fowler, Paul Spencer, Rick and Anne Spencer, Mark and Jerri Spencer, Rachael Roerig; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, James and Helen Pauley, Janice Wade, Betty McGuire; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:00 am at Grand Rapids First Church in the Prayer Chapel, 2100 44^th St. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Larry French officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
