Schuiteman Arthur W. Arthur W. Schuiteman, aged 93, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Brookcrest Nursing Home, where he had received wonderful care.  He was born to William and Dena Schuiteman on March 8, 1920 in Sioux Center, IA, where he met and married Alice Brands on November 1, 1945.  Art proudly served our country as a member of the US Army during WWII and was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Alice; sister, Anne (Gerrit) Meyer; and one precious grandchild.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Karen Schuiteman, Wayne and Joyce Schuiteman, Ron and Nancee Schuiteman, Jim and Kathy Schuiteman; 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin and Wilmina Schuiteman; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00am at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Ave., Hudsonville with Rev. James Admiraal officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Christian Nursing Home.
