Arnold Lynema

LYNEMA- Arnold "Arnie", 71, entered his Heavenly home on August 16, 2015. He is lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grand father and a good friend to many. He was an avid gardener, watch collector and self-taught in watch repair. He enjoyed many road trips and selling at the Beltline flea market and Ebay. He attended Unity Reformed Church in Kentwood and was an active member of the Chapter 101 of the West MI NAWCC (NTL Watch and Collectors Association). He is survived by his wife of 49+ years, Theresa (Elliott), his son Jeff (Karen), and daughter, Jilliane (Dan) VanderHyde and his beloved grandkids: Justin and Alexis Lynema and Anna VanderHyde, his sisters: Jennie kemp, Mary Scharroo and Joyce Wiley and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Katherine Lynema and his brothers: Marvin, Edward and Gerald. Cremation has taken place. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8PM Wednesday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Unity Reformed Church, 4450 Poinsettia SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 Pastor Mark Bergsma officiating, and with visitation an hour Prior.
