Armando Vidaña Delgado

Armando Vidaña Delgado, age 59, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Armando was a dedicated husband, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was very talented and a man of all trades from sewing, to cooking to acting like a child in a candy store when he got a new tool to do mechanics. He enjoyed doing mission work with his wife Maria and helped many people in their community. His smile and sense of humor was contagious. He was a man of God with strong faith and has a passion for sharing his faith with others. Armando was loved by many and will be deeply missed and never forgotten. He was a true blessing. 

Armando gave his wife Maria more than she ever needed. He cared for her with love and affection. He was her best friend, her confidant, biggest fan, and advocate. Maria will carry his love with her until they see each other again. 

He is survived by his wife, Maria Vidaña; daughters, Zayde, Nancy (David), and Araceli; sons, Jose (Irene), Miguel, David, Israel, Alejandro (Andrea), and Noe (Adelina); grandchildren: Idalis, Javian, Kayliss, Alyah, Arianna, Tony, Julian, Javier, Jasmine, Carlos, Erik, Sophia, Emmanuel, Adrian, Miguelito, Kevin, and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Jasiah and Jackson; parents, Rogelio Vidaña and Elodia Delgado; and eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW Grand Rapids, MI 49418 with Pastor Ruddy Caldera officiating. Burial will take place at Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service.

Armando fue un esposo dedicado, un padre amoroso, abuelo y bisabuelo. Era muy talentoso y un hombre de muchos oficios, desde coser hasta cocinar, pasando por actuar como un niño en una tienda de dulces cuando obtenía una nueva herramienta para hacer mecánica. Disfrutaba hacer trabajo misionero con su esposa Maria y ayudó a muchas personas en su comunidad. Su sonrisa y sentido del humor eran contagiosos. Era un hombre de Dios con una fe fuerte y tenía una pasión por compartir su fe con los demás. Armando fue amado por muchos y será profundamente extrañado y nunca olvidado. Fue una verdadera bendición.

Armando le dio a su esposa María más de lo que ella alguna vez necesitó. La cuidó con amor y cariño. Él fue su mejor amigo, su confidente, su mayor admirador y defensor. María llevará su amor con ella hasta que se vuelvan a ver.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Maria Vidaña; sus hijas, Zayde, Nancy (David) y Araceli; sus hijos, Jose (Irene), Miguel, David, Israel, Alejandro (Andrea) y Noe (Adelina); sus nietos: Idalis, Javian, Kayliss, Alyah, Arianna, Tony, Julian, Javier, Jasmine, Carlos, Erik, Sophia, Emmanuel, Adrian, Miguelito, Kevin y Jordan; sus bisnietos, Jasiah y Jackson; sus padres, Rogelio Vidaña y Elodia Delgado; y ocho hermanos y hermanas.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 11 AM el Viernes 12 de Julio de 2024 en la funeraria Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Grandville) en 4145 Chicago Dr. SW Grand Rapids, MI 49418 con el Pastor Ruddy Caldera oficiando. El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Fairplains. Familiares y amigos pueden visitar a la familia el Viernes de 10 a 11 AM en la funeraria antes del servicio.
