Arlene Trout, age 85, of Wyoming, went into the loving hands of our Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Okie; parents, Arthur and Eileen Van Rossum; son, David Trout; granddaughter, Natalie Vanden Toorn; and sister, Mary Baker. She is survived by her children, Susan Trout, Kathy (Mark) Vanden Toorn, Phyllis Trout, Michael Trout; daughter-in-law, Vickie Trout; grandchildren, Steven, Traci, Matthew, Angela, Patrick, Malcolm, Melissa, and Alice; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Carol Nash; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to express a special thanks to all her caregivers, especially Michelle, Lakesha, and Meesa (Mel). Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, at 11:00 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Entombment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother. I have known all of you and your Mother, most of my life and have many memories. I am sorry for your loss. I just wanna say how sorry I am for the loss of arlene,she was a nice lady,my neighbor and I was her caregiver,i will miss her,taking care of her and many stories of her life,until we meet again friend.I will also miss seeking her family.
