I have had the pleasure of calling in orders to Ida's for the past 16 years. Ardy answered the phone often. She was so sweet and her powerful laugh always made me laugh. She was such a sweet and fun person to talk too! I was so very sorry to hear of her passing today. She touched so many lives in so many different ways. I am so grateful to have had the laughs with her. We all know that she is in a much better place and we will see her again. I just would like to let her family and friends know that I am thinking of them and praying for them. She was a great person and she will be missed by many.

The Hekman family expresses our deepest sympathy to Bill, David, Shannon, and precious Harper and extended family, in the passing of someone you loved so much! What great memories of Ardy living on Tioga Dr! She was such a fun girl, and loved her family, loved working at Ida’s bakery, and loved Grandma Hekman’s fat balls each Holloween! I had special memories of Ardy all through our school years together, and we along with each one of you will miss her! We take such comfort in knowing that she loved her Lord! John 16:22 So with you; now is the time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice and no one can take away your joy! We look forward to seeing Ardy again! The Hekman family

Dear Family
As a former classmate of Ardis, please accept my (and my family's) sincere condolescences and prayers in this loss of your wife, mom. Whenever our paths crossed throughout the years her smile and positive caring approach in life came through. May this same God that Ardis knew as her Lord and Savior continue to cover and carry you.

Bill, Shannon, David and families - I am so heartbroken for all of you! Ardis was such a special woman. Our family has so many memories of your family; while we lived on Greenfield, your mom watching Joe and Jeff while I worked at Kids Korner, swimming in our little 4' pool, New Years Eve parties, and so much more. I am thankful that we do not mourn as those who have no hope - we mourn with you because of your loss, but rejoice with you in the reality of her eternal joy in the literal presence of the Lord..
