Archie Ingersoll, age 67, of Comstock Park, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Archie was a caring and gentle husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a man of few words but was always a calming presence. Archie had a great sense of humor and was a great handyman, who was always working on projects around the house. Archie loved to go jeeping, and camping, but above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Editha Ingersoll; sister-in-law, Lavonne Ingersoll; brothers-in-law Roger Slabbekoorn, and Tim Krystiniak; nephews, Joel Ingersoll and Damon Ingersoll; and his niece, Rhonda Ingersoll. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nine years, Tammy Ingersoll; children Erin (Josh) Frank, Ryan (Ashley) Ingersoll, Nick Pokora, Jake (Morgan) Pokora, Amanda Pokora; grandchildren, Landon Pokora, River Ingersoll, Violet Ingersoll, Brynlee Chaves, Desmond Pokora; siblings, Leon (Trish) Ingersoll, Edward (Doris) Ingersoll, Gordon (Cheryl) Ingersoll, Judy (Cal) Hosmer, Eva (Wayne) Blair, Al (Sharon) Ingersoll, Lloyd (Janet) Ingersoll, Paul (Candise) Ingersoll; parents-in-law, Bill and Dori Krystiniak; brother-in-law, Tom Krystiniak; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm as well as an hour prior to the service at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice or to the family to help cover funeral costs.
