MESSINA - Antonietta Messina aged 86 passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pietro Messina; parents, Gaetano Masucci and Gaetana Terraglia; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Felice (Marianna) Messina, Gaetano Messina, Vincenzo Messina; grandchildren, Antonietta (James) Eliassen, Pietro (Tiffany) Messina, Salvatore (Steffen) Messina, Tanina Messina, Pietro Anthony Messina, Paolo (Renee) Messina, Giuseppe (Candice) Messina, Maria Antonietta (Brent) Prindle; great grandchildren, Anna, Jackie, Alex, Felice, Marianna, Cara, Alessia, Salvatore Jr., Parker, Giulianna, Isabella, Luca, Stella; sister, Maria Labita Masucci; sister-in-law, Maria Diana Masucci. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall Street SE, Grand Rapids. Her family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Wyoming and one hour before the Mass at church. Prayers of the rosary will be recited 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
