Antoinette M. Martin

Antoinette Marie (Guastella) Martin, age 77 of Byron Center, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Dave; daughters Renee (Andrew) Reeg, Kim (Jeff) Smith; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Nelson, Michael Bowers, Courtney (Phil) Morici; great-grandchildren, Kimora and Kealliya Nelson, Giovanni Morici; brother, Donald Guastella; sister, Carmen (Ken) Martin; sisters-in-law, Marylou and Iris; many nieces and nephews. Antoinette was born on March 30, 1938. She was a 1957 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Antoinette worked for Daane’s Grocery for 30 years and retired from Family Fare. She enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and gardening and visiting with friends. Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo SE, Kentwood with Fr. Phil Shangraw presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Sunday 1-2pm prior to the service. Her family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff that took care of her in her time of need at Metro Health Hospital. Also a special thank you to Tom at Tandem 365, your care and compassion is appreciated beyond words.
