Anne Zanella

Zanella, Anne Margaret, (nee Bomers), aged, 74 of Grand Rapids, MI passed away peacefully from a battle of breast cancer. Anne is preceded death by her parents, Robert and Polly Bomers; husband, John Zanella of 7 years. Anne is survived by her son, Tim (Sheri) Hall; daughter, Tammy (Dan) Hemmes; son, Terry Hall; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Jan (Sue) Bomers, Robert (Gay) Bomers, sister, Sally (Jim) Teeman. Anne grew up in Grand Rapids. She retired and married in August of 1997 to John Zanella also of Grand Rapids. They moved to Beaver Island to live there permanently. She loved being a librarian, book keeper and an Islander for 11 years. Anne moved back to Grand Rapids due to health issues in 2008. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Susan G.
