Anne Piersma

Anne Piersma (Leestma), age 97, of Raybrook Manor, formerly of Hudsonville, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 31, 2024 and is reunited with her husband of 32 years, Gordon, and their sons, Jon Piersma, and David Piersma. She was born on August 25, 1927 to David and Gertrude Leestma, and was the third of four siblings all of who preceded her. Anne was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to raising her family and serving her Lord. After raising her children, she began a career retiring from Spartan Stores after 10 years of faithful service. Her legacy of faith and family will be forever cherished. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Durk and Kathy Piersma, Judy Piersma, Roda Piersma, Gretchen and Randy Knoper, Jeff and Deb Piersma; her grandchildren, Tracy and Jon Vibbart, Tyler Piersma and Gabby Dorantes, Marshall Piersma, Derek  and Melanie Knoper, Jordan and Kayla Knoper, Taylor and Aaron Scott, Kyle and Lauren Piersma, Abby and Jon Steffes, Emily and Dakota Prince; nine great-grandchildren with one soon to arrive; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, from 4-6 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A private family burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Navigators Ministries.
