Brinks, Annaruth Annaruth Brinks (VandenBerg, nee Sjoerdsma), age 87, of Grandville, entered into her eternal home on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Ann was a strong woman whose life gave testimony of her faith every day. For those who knew her, she will be remembered for her kind, sweet, and gentle spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gerald VandenBerg; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Calista VandenBerg; daughter-in-law, Ruth VandenBerg; brother, Ted Sjoerdsma. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 12 years, Marvin Brinks; her children, Gerry and Mary Jane VandenBerg, Rich and Ada VandenBerg, Dave and Willow VandenBerg, Ruth and Hank Beekhuis, Joan and Larry Damhorst, Marv and Carolyn VandenBerg, Sharon Langenberg, Ted and Sheryl VandenBerg, Lois and Joel Vega, Linda and Jim Schuitema; 33 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; sister, Joanne and George DeKoekkoek; many nieces and nephews; step-children and step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Jim Molenbeek officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 7-9 pm at the funeral home and Saturday from 10-11am prior to the service at the funeral home.
