Anna Marie Beaty

Anna Marie Beaty, age 103, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 24, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Beaty, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and John Kolasse. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Yvonne and Bob Carpenter, Robert and Jeannette Kolasse, Debra and Daniel Chester, Jennifer and Benjamin Butgereit; 6 great grandchildren: Nicole and Mike Holstege, Trevor and Sarah Carpenter, Derek Kolasse, Alex and Marley Kolasse, Jessica (Jake Thigpen) Butgereit, Benjamin and Courtney Butgereit; 8 great great grandchildren: Zoe, Logan, Danika, Ayla, Piper, and Nash Holstege, Grayson Kolasse, Carter Butgereit; nieces: Joyce and Bill Wolslegel, Chartel “Chuckles” Peterson; and special friends. Anna wishes to be remembered for her devotion for St. Theresa and her love of yellow roses. She was a member of the St. Jude’s Guild and former usher and eucharistic minister at St. John Vianney, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Education Foundation.
