Anna Kleijn (also Kleyn), our dear Great Grandmother, Oma, Mother, Sister, and Friend was received peacefully into her new home with our Lord on Saturday morning at 7:15. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Hendrik, May 2002; her dear grandsons, Derek deVroomen, and Chad Kleyn; her son-in-law, Rick deVroomen; her parents, Gerrit-Jan and Janna Van Doleweerd; her sisters, Jannie, Maatje, Jacoba; her brothers, Jaap, and Adrie; and brother-in-law, Bert den Hollander. She leaves behind her children, Janet Kleyn, Corrie (Arie) Vreugdenhil, Henk (Margaret) Kleyn, Heather (Scott) Alkema, Jhon (Alison) Kleyn, Ray (Val) Kleyn, Richard (Sherri) Kleyn, Chris (Diana) Kleyn; her 32 grandchildren and 74 great grandchildren remain blessed with memories of her love along with her sisters, Johana (Henk) Blijerveld, Tineke Van Doleweerd; her brother, Gerrit Van Doleweerd; sisters-in-law, Inneke Van Doleweerd and Hermine den Hollander; and many more family members in the Netherlands, Australia and Canada. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 10:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor David Van Brugge officiating. Interment Jamestown Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 9-10 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Plymouth Christian Schools or Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
