Anna Bogdans

Anna Teresa Bogdans, age 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Roland S. Bogdans and Monica Gill; granddaughters, Lisa (Richard) Zinken, Kristina (Carl) Stancell; great grandchildren, Marissa, Emma, Anna, and Ethan Zinken, Jessica and Julia Stancell; great great grandson, Liam; sister-in-law, Leone Bogdans; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna emigrated to the United States as a result of World War II in Eastern Europe.  She became a citizen and worked at Keebler Company for 32 years.  She loved gardening and tending her flowers in the sunshine.  Anna loved her family, enjoyed telling jokes and singing.  She was a happy go lucky lady and loved following the movie stars, especially Elvis Presley, but followed wrestling (WWE) with a passion.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Dennis Morrow officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home, with a Rosary at 7 pm.
