Anita Kathleen Hassevoort, age 82, of Zeeland, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hassevoort, in 2019 after 60 years of marriage. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Scott (Laura) Hassevoort, Kirk (Amber) Hassevoort, Kent (Tammy) Hassevoort; grandchildren, Luke (Jill) Hassevoort, Leah (Jesse) Hassevoort-Sanford, Allison (Josh) Phillips, Cassandra Hassevoort, Zoey Hassevoort, Spencer Hassevoort; great-grandchildren, Camden, MacKenzie, Emerson, and Parker; brother, Dale Boers; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hoffman, Pauline Nauta, and Betty Hassevort; brother-in-law, Bruce Hassevoort; and many nieces and nephews. The family encourages their relatives and friends to attend a graveside service for Anita that will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Olive Township Cemetery on the southeast corner of 116th Avenue & Taylor Street with Rev. Michael Van Buren officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ottawa Reformed Church, (11390 Stanton Street, West Olive).
