Angeline Sackrison

Angeline Sackrison, age 96, of Grandville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Billie, and her son, Michael Sackrison. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put others before herself. Angie was blessed with a strong work ethic, retiring from GM after 28 years of dedicated service. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, B. Bruce Jr. and Nancy Sackrison, Nancy Sackrison Dorman, Mary Beth Sackrison, Craig and Jan Sackrison, Rick and Pamela Sackrison, Lori and Mel Burd; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren to whom she was known as “grandma-great”; sisters-in-law, Colleen Hiemstra, Rose Boersma; several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Chaplain Vern Bareman officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice.
