Angelica Mohr

Angelica Mohr “Gigi”, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Angelica and her husband moved their family from Romania to the U.S. on February 8, 1985 and helped to start and build the Romanian Orthodox Church in 1995. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens for many years. She also loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Constantin “Titi”; sisters, Florica Petre, Georgeta Petre; brothers-in-law: Petre Cimpeanu, Florin Mohr, Petre Mohr. She will be greatly missed by her daughter: Beatrice and Keith Schepers, and their children: Kailey Natte, Christina Mohr; son, George Mohr and his children, Audrey, Morgan, Liliana, and Luca Mohr, and their mother, Allison Mohr; sisters, Eleonora Petre, Maria Cimpeanu; sisters-in-law, Nela Mohr, Maria Mohr; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Annunciation Romanian Orthodox Church, 2573 Hillside Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Burial will be held at Dormition Monastery in Jackson, MI. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Friday from 3-7 p.m. beginning with memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation Romanian Orthodox Church.
