Andrew Ondersma

Andrew S. Ondersma, age 92, of Alto, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 26, 2016 and went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Jane.  He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Larry DeVries; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ondersma; grandson, Scott DeVries; parents Frank and Flora Ondersma; brothers, Frank Ondersma and Jacob Ondersma; sisters, Marie DenHouten, and Anne Hollander. He is survived by his children, Carolyn DeVries, Gail (Bob) Klamer, Dale (Marilyn) Ondersma, Dennis (Julie) Ondersma; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Doris Vandenberg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016, 11:00 am at Lakeside Community Church, 6201 Whitneyville Ave. with Pastor Wayne Ondersma officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday at the church from 10 am until the time of the service.
