Andrew Michael Musick

August 15, 1988 - March 10, 2021

It is with a broken heart we announce the passing of Andrew Michael Musick, age 33, on March 10, 2021. Although we know he is in heaven, the pain of his loss is searing. We will miss his kindness, integrity, quick wit, and love. Andy’s love for history, languages and learning made him one of the most interesting and knowledgeable people in any crowd, but his genuine acceptance of people made him truly special. After graduating from Forest Hills Eastern, he spent many years traveling the United States and abroad. Through his studies and travels, he gleaned wisdom and insight into many fields including investments, economics and more. But Andy’s real passion was his personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and studying the Bible. Andy was very generous with his gifts and talents and supported many ministries and non-profits. He is survived by his Mother: Mary Musick of Grand Rapids and his father Mark Musick of Portland, sisters Andrea Musick of Grand Rapids, Alexandra Musick & Claudia Penuelas of Portland, Oregon and his brother Jess Musick of Grand Rapids, his Grandpa Dale Musick of Las Vegas. Beloved nephew Silas Ritzema and niece Teyva Musick, Aunt Rose & Uncle Kevin Perkins, Uncle Jerry & Tona Urban, Uncle James Urban, Aunt Janet Godfrey of Utah and Uncle Andrew Musick of Oregon and 57 cousins. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Jess & Martha Brown, Grandparents Bob & Rose Urban, Grandma Judith Musick, Aunts Jeanne Candia & Robin Schwartz, Uncles Robert & Richard Urban and Cousin David Schwartz. A private service will be held at Ada Bible Church- Knapp Street on Monday March 15 at 11am and followed by a celebration of life at 1pm at 1877 Sandrel Drive NE Grand Rapids, Mi.

Romans 8:38-39: For I am convinced that neither death or life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
