Andrejs Locmelis, age 68, of Allendale, passed away July 29, 2019. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Judy; children: Andrejs, Kathleen, and James (Jessica) Locmelis, Amanda (Daniel) Locmelis-Jackson; grandchildren: Frank, Lina; father-in-law, Frank Giuliano; brothers-in-law: Leonard Giuliano, Frank (Valerie) Giuliano; nieces: Tara and Gina; nephew, Joseph; great niece, Ava; many great friends and extended family.  Andy worked many years as a computer programmer/analyst.  As a young child, Andrejs immigrated to America  with his Latvian family from Germany. He enjoyed ham radios, bird watching, traveling, and he was a proud member of the NRA.  Most of all, he loved being a husband, father and grandfather.  A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019, at St. Michael’s Church, 17150 88th Ave., Coopersville, with Rev. Norman Droski presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with a Rosary at 7 pm.
