Ana Gillion

GILLION - Mrs. Ana Maria E. Gillion, aged 45 of Byron Center, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014. Surviving are her husband, Keith Gillion; children, David Herrera, Aaron Gillion, Alexis Gillion, Becka Hocutt; mother, Berta Sarmiento; brothers, Aurelio Fajardo Jr., Juan Pablo Fajardo; sisters Martha Fajardo, Laura Trujillo; many nieces and nephews. Ana came to America many years ago to start a new life, to raise her children with safety and obtain peace. She was very independent, learned the English language and obtained her degree in social work. Ana Maria had a giving heart. She spent the ladder years of her life helping others, giving money, things, and her time to others that were in need and less fortunate. She touched countless lives through her work in the community. She was a loving mother that can't be replaced, a mother to four, when they needed her most. She was a believer of Jesus, and will be waiting for all of us some day. Her spirit will fill our hearts. Ana was a member of Resurrection Life Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Resurrection Life Church, in the Rez Center, 5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville. Her family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
