Amanda and i met in middle school in wayland and were friends through high school and for a while after that. I lost track of her for a while and she'd pop up here or there and it was always great to see her and catch up. I was deepy saddened to hear of her illness and passing. She was always so kind and honest with me. Ill always remember her.

I worked with Amanda at CVGL. We had some fun times in the kitchen. She was a very nice person. She loved her kids fiercely. Amanda you will be missed. Rest in Peace.

Amanda was a force to be reckoned with. She needed to be. Fighting Cancer is no joke. I got to know her when I worked at Lacks Cancer Center. She overcame so many obstacles along her journey. Raising two beautiful kids as a single mother. Surviving a car accident while undergoing chemo. Always showing up with her spunky personality and a smile that would light up the room. This beautiful soul would engage every staff member and every fellow patient in the waiting room or infusion area with her no nonsense approach to life. She was an advocate for other colon cancer patients. She gathered them together for support and encouragement. She was a rock star at Gilda's Club. Laci and Jace...your mom will forever remain in my heart.

I'll always remember how our friendship started on an online dating site about 5 or 6 years ago. You mentioned in your profile that you had terminal cancer. After I messaged you, you told me I was the only guy that had messaged you, likely because of terminal cancer you mentioned. I agreed with you, you still deserved to live and love regardless. We remained friends on Facebook for several years, video chatted a few times, messaged on messenger, and while we never met in person, I still felt like we were always good friends. You were so strong, always fighting and doing treatments pretty much all the years I knew you. Your fight to live was inspirational, your hope, despite the odds was always strong. Your strength to keep fighting was heroic! I believe all these things, along with God's blessings kept you going so long. I'll never forget you. God bless you and keep now. God bless, your children and family until you all unite again.
