Alvin Rosema

Alvin “Bud” Jay Rosema, age 92, of Allendale, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021, and is now singing with the angels. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Holst) Rosema; brother, Tom Rosema; sisters, Avis Vruggink, Arlene Dyke, Evie Geurink. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Annette (Heuker-Meyering) Rosema; children, Bruce and Edith Rosema, Roger and Lin Rosema, Melvin Rosema and Patty; grandchildren, Roger Jr. and Melanie Rosema, Melissa Anewishki; great-grandchildren, Kaley, Morgan, Everett, Bryce, Valerie, Alex, Owen, and Ethan; many other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bud was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11 a.m. at First Allendale Christian Reformed Church, 5734 Country View Dr., Allendale, with Pastor Gerry Heyboer and Pastor Ken Kruithoff officiating. The burial will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, January 29, from 4-7 p.m. at the church. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love INC.
