Alvin Gerard Paxson

Alvin Gerard Paxson, age 84, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025.  He proudly served in the U.S. Marines.  He was always active serving in his career starting as a firefighter in East Grand Rapids, paramedic, and later a public safety officer.   He enjoyed building houses and helping his family working on their homes over the years. He enjoyed traveling and driving across the country, even as far as Alaska in his motorhome.  He always took care of his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Kellie (Randy) Moss, Tracy Paxson, Lori (Carlos) Razo, Tim Paxson, and their mother, Margaret Paxson; grandchildren: Tim Paxson Jr., Jeremy Cumbey, Ryan Razo; great grandchildren: Ezra and Gael Paxson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Janet Paxson; and his sister, Linda Pickaart.

A private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
