Allen Eugene Roberts, age 88, of Hudsonville, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norene; infant son, Robert; brothers, Louis Roberts, Bill Roberts.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Larre and Evon “Vonnie”  Roberts, Lorri and Tom Hop; grandchildren, Matthew Roberts, Megan and Cam Luyk, Christine and Aaron Haight, Danielle and Matt Kool; great-grandchildren, Emma, Hadley, Mikayla, Ella, Bryce, Colette; sister, Karen and Jerry Mulder; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale), 6651 Scott St., 49401, with Rev. Steve Demers officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love INC or Spectrum Health Hospice.
