Alida P. Kuipers

Alida P. Kuipers, aged 90 of Middleville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew; sister, Marie VanBeek; and brother, Tom Willemstein. She is survived by her children, Terry (Sheila) Kuipers, Gary (Ruth) Kuipers, Timothy (Vicki) Kuipers, Robin Joyner; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lois Kuipers, Gil Veenstra, Gordon (Beth) Kuipers, Arnold Remtema, Joyce Kane; and many nieces and nephews. Alida loved her Lord and her family.  A Celebration of Life Service for Alida will be held Monday at 1 pm at Lakeside Community Church, 6201 Whitneyville Road SE with Pastor David Bosscher officiating. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood) (phone 616-455-1535), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE on Sunday from 2-5 pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Van Andel Institute for Parkinson’s Disease Research.
