Alfred “Bill” Hibbert, age 95, of Wyoming passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Susan Hibbert; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Carpenter; grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis, and Ava; brothers-in-law, Ken (Sandy) Brown, Kirby (Cathy) Brown; and nieces and nephews. Bill retired from Sentry Insurance after a forty five year career, enjoyed working in his yard, an avid Michigan State fan, and he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, November 2, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, November 1, from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, as well as an hour prior to the start of the service at church. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution of one’s choosing.
