Alfred Wedge

WEDGE - Alfred "Al" J. Wedge, of Grandville, MI, aged 90 passed away peacefully to his eternal home Friday, February 17, 2017. He was preceeded in death by his parents Joseph (Alfred) and Esther Wedge; sister, Mary Ann Story. Surviving are: his sister, Helen Brant; daughters, Mary (Mike) Dies, Marie (Luke) Smith; grandchildren, Aleesha Grawey, Sarah Dies, David Dies, Nick Dies, Lukas Smith; great grandchildren, Eden Grawey, Liam Grawey, Evelyn Grawey; and also many nieces and nephews. Al was known for his signature cowboy hat, outgoing personality and was a friend to all. For many years he was a sponsor at AA and helped many people. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Grand Rapids First Church in the prayer chapel, 2100 44th Street SW, Wyoming MI.
