Alfred Burrell, age 78, of Caledonia formerly of Ypsilanti, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Sandra; step-children, Kim and Scott Vandergalien, Margaret and Phil Plafkin; step-grandchildren, Keara Vandergalien, Chad Vandergalien, Tiffany Vandergalien, Derek Plafkin, and Stephanie Plafkin; sisters, Carol and her husband Joe, and Janet and her husband Sil; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Martha Burrell.
