Alberta Goe

Alberta N. Goe, of Wyoming, MI, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 31, 2019 after spending the day celebrating her 92nd birthday with dear friends and loving family members who filled her special day with her favorite foods, special remembrances and much laughter! Alberta was the devoted wife of the late Clifford D. Goe, loving mother of Sandra (Larry) Denton and Kristine (Richard) Ryskamp, proud Grandmother of Kimberly (Dean) Vander Hill, Lana (Doug) Krikke, Clayton (Jackie) Denton, R. Jonathan (Rebecca) Ryskamp and Brian (Jennifer) Ryskamp, doting Great-grandmother to 19 beautiful Great-grandchildren who loved and adored her, a dear sister to Judy (Paul) Staples and Sister in Law, Carolyn Ardrey and an adored Aunt of many nieces and nephews across the country. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford D. Goe; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Larry Denton, her parents, Clyde and Nora Ardrey, and siblings Dorothy Sue (John) Ihler, Velma (Willis) Taylor, Fannie Mae Swank, and Clyde Ardrey Jr. Alberta had a passion for Jesus. She spent many hours reading and studying the Bible and praying for others. Her greatest desire was to follow Jesus and to have her family and friends follow him too. She always asked, "Are you going to be there too"? Today, she is sitting at the table celebrating with Jesus and all those who went before her. Yes, we will be there! Save a place for us. We're coming and we can't wait to see you again! Philippians 4: 4-7 "The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 13 at River of God Church (4607 68th ST SW, Byron Center, MI 49315) at 1:00 PM.
