Albert Young III

Albert Young III, age 69, of Grandville, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Al enjoyed  fishing, cooking, working on his lawn, and just putzing around in general. He was an avid football fan, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, and Dallas Cowboys. Al loved spending time with his family and would do pretty much anything for anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Young Jr and Mary Merritt, and a brother, Kenneth Young Sr. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marian; his children and grandchildren, Albert Young IV, Paige and Tyler Doyle (Bentley, Ellie, Levi), Sindica Young (Samia, Deijana, Tahj); and great-grandson, Kendrix; brothers and sister, Robert Young, Penny and Tim Bowen, Delbert Young, Roger and Lindsey Young, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, October 9, from  5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society.
